The insulating plastics have high surface resistivity above 10ˆ12 ohms/sq. We have developed Conductive and anti- static Plastic end caps composed of conductive additives with insulative thermoplastic base resin like ABS, Glass Filled nylon and others. These end – caps with a surface resistivity in the range of 10^5 to 10^9 ohms/sq. can be supplied with third party certification .

These conductive end caps can be safely used in explosive environment as they:

• Prevent against spark formation
• Insulate against high leakage current
• Prevent electrostatic discharge to/ from human contact
