This unit can be used after the Slitting Station or after the Pleating Machines for cutting the slitted coils or pleated media cross wise. The cutting action is effected through a circular cutter moving cross-wise in an accurately machined Guide System and Lead Screw by electro-mechanical means.

The cutting action starts once the set length (being fed in PLC based control panel) is sensed through Sensor-Encoder system.
